Who should not donate :

  • The person should not be under any medication.
  • Pregnant women & people who have undergone major surgeries should avoid.
  • Individuals having low hemoglobin should not donate blood.
  • Individuals who have donated before less than period of 3 months should not donate
    blood.
  • Be alert and inform the attendant if you feel uneasy or weakness during donation.
  • Blood of mother / son / father / brother / sister cannot be used for receiver due to RH
    factor complications.
  • women with complications of pregnancy, such as ectopic pregnancies and haemorrhage before, during or after childbirth;

It is important that you should donate blood only after completion of three months from the date you have donated blood always make sure that you donate blood at a hygienic location and only to genuine blood banks or reputed medical centres equipped with the proper infrastructure for carrying out such procedures.
